The CEO needed to host a major event featuring a sitting president. The event was strategically created to rebuild credibility, strengthen key relationships, and open doors to larger opportunities.

Challenge
Federal security protocols and layered clearance processes
Multiple high-level stakeholders with competing interests
Press attention and reputational risk
A fundraising target tied to long-term organizational health
The need to secure the right mix of influential attendees
What I Did
I served simultaneously as producer, project manager, and creative director.
Built a full project plan with milestones, owners, and contingencies
Managed all vendor negotiations and contracts under extreme time pressure
Designed the event experience, aesthetic, and flow
Coordinated security teams to integrate federal protocols
Controlled the run-of-show, from arrivals to stage timing to VIP management
Centralized communications to align donors, partners, staff, and security
Identified risk points early and created backup plans for each critical element
Directed the overall creative concept, guest experience, and run-of-show
I operated as the central command point, aligning creative vision, logistics, and security while ensuring the CEO stayed shielded from unnecessary stress.
